JSA2026 Statement on 2025 Mayoral Elections

“I’m not a good candidate. I’m the right one.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 15, 2025

“I’m Not on the Ballot in 2025. But I’m Watching.”

As mayoral elections approach across cities and towns throughout New York State, Jason S. Arnold—the independent candidate for Governor in 2026—has issued a clear message to both voters and candidates:

“The mayors you elect this year will either work with us in 2026—or stand in the way when we take back this state.”

Jason S. Arnold’s campaign isn’t just focused on winning in 2026—it’s building infrastructure now by tracking who’s aligned with the values of truth, transparency, public safety, and real reform. That starts at the local level.

To Voters:

If you believe in the JSA2026 movement, don’t wait until next year to act. These mayoral races are your first opportunity to choose leaders who will support the reforms that matter most—from clean streets to family court accountability, from fiscal transparency to housing justice.

Vote accordingly, now—not just reactively next year.

To Candidates:

Endorsements will not be handed out lightly. Jason is observing which candidates are speaking up—and which are staying silent. Loyalty to the people of New York must come before party lines or political games.

“If you want my endorsement, I need to know where your loyalty really stands. The people will remember who stood with them when it wasn’t safe to do so.”

Next Steps:

  • JSA2026 will be evaluating mayoral campaigns across all boroughs and regions.
