“You don’t stop the spread of nuclear weapons with cash and excuses. You stop it with resolve.”
—Jason S. Arnold, Candidate for Governor of New York

In response to the recent U.S. airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, I want to make my position clear: this was the right move. It was overdue. And it was done with precision and restraint—without the use of nuclear force, which I oppose under any flag.

Let’s stop pretending this is about fairness. Yes, other nations in the region have nuclear capabilities—but none of them have their fingerprints on decades of global terrorism. Iran does.

  • Over 4,500 attacks: Iran has been linked to more than 4,500 attacks on U.S. and allied personnel since 1979.
  • Uranium enrichment: Iran has enriched uranium to 60%—just short of the 90% required for weapons-grade—according to IAEA reports as of 2024.
  • Hezbollah funding: Iran provides an estimated $700 million annually to Hezbollah, fueling global terrorism.
  • $1.7 billion in cash: Delivered by the Obama administration as part of the 2015 nuclear deal—yet Iran’s behavior only worsened.

I support peace. But peace doesn’t come from weakness.
It comes from action. The United States remains the only nation capable of executing such a precision strike without triggering global war. That’s not arrogance—it’s reality.

And to those defending the billions handed to Iran? My question is simple: why didn’t Obama send bunker busters instead? That money bought Iran more time—not peace. It helped them dig deeper, not disarm.

There’s no negotiating with evil. Iran cannot be allowed to possess a weapon of mass destruction. This strike was a bold and necessary step forward—and I support it fully.
