JSA2026 Campaign Statement on May 16th Appearance at LFS6B Event

“Grateful for the Invite. Disappointed in the Silence.”

Last night, on what also happened to be my birthday, I had the opportunity to attend an event hosted by the team behind LFS6B—a group of six well-known political podcasters with a loyal audience and a strong footprint here on Long Island. I sincerely thank them for the welcome, the cigars, and the chance to share space with like-minded New Yorkers.

However, as the only declared 2026 candidate for Governor of New York in the room, I left disappointed. Not a single question about the campaign. Not a single moment of meaningful political dialogue. Despite gently steering conversation toward the issues that matter—taxes, crime, schools, corruption—there was no spark of interest.

I don’t say this with bitterness, but with clarity: the silence spoke volumes.

In an era when outsider voices are supposedly being “welcomed,” it’s hard not to notice when one is conveniently ignored. That said, I hold no grudges. I remain open to future dialogue and collaboration with the LFS6B crew—because I believe in second chances, real conversations, and giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.

New York deserves honest, fearless leadership. Not curated conversations and filtered reality.
