Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with every individual and family affected by this horrific event. In moments like these, it is vital that we pause to recognize the pain of those directly impacted — and give them the respect they deserve as they begin to navigate unimaginable loss.

Why Patience and Trust Matter Right Now

Times of crisis often lead to speculation. Rumors spread faster than facts, and emotional reactions — while human — can complicate investigations. As New Yorkers, we must do better. Let’s allow law enforcement and investigators the time and space to do their jobs. Their work will bring clarity, accountability, and ultimately, justice. Rushing to judgment or amplifying unverified information only deepens the wounds of this tragedy.
