“I’m not a good candidate. I’m the right one.” — Jason S. Arnold

No slogans — plans. Judge me by what I publish now and deliver later. If your streets aren’t safer, your bills aren’t lower, and your government isn’t cleaner, I failed.

About Jason

Who is Jason S. Arnold?
A lifelong New Yorker who’s lived the five boroughs, Long Island, and upstate. Builder, father, formerly incarcerated, addiction survivor, small-business founder. Not a polished career politician — a doer with receipts.
Why are you running?
Albany is broken. Families are priced out, streets feel less safe, and the machine serves itself. I’m running to put New Yorkers back in charge with a transparent plan you can audit.
How will you measure success?
By outcomes you feel: lower property-tax pressure, safer neighborhoods, faster transit, honest budgets, and visible dashboards tracking all of it. No spin — just numbers.
Day-One Executive Orders?
Already drafted: procurement audits, transparency portal, transit power upgrades, tourism-zone safety, homestead protections, and more. Read them here →
Top priorities in one line?

Party & Politics

What is the MAGA Purple Revolution Party?
A post-party movement for the exhausted majority — keep what works, ditch the grift. Built for doers: working-class conservatives, independents, and reform-minded Dems who want results over drama.
Are you pro-Trump?
I support action that helps New Yorkers. I’ll praise courage and call out corruption — in any party. New York comes first, period.
Are you splitting the Republican vote?
No. I’m expanding the map — outer-borough families, suburban moderates, independents, and disaffected Dems. That’s how you win NY again.
How are you different from Elise Stefanik?
Statewide math and management. I publish NY-specific execution: property-tax caps & swaps, MTA power, SEZ/LEZ education, childcare, clean streets. Read the contrast: Why Elise Can’t Win — and Why I Can →
Do you take corporate PAC money?
No. Grassroots only. That’s why I answer to you — not lobbyists.

Policies & Plans

How do you cut property-tax pressure without gutting schools?
Homestead 1% cap + voter consent, end tax-lien seizures on primary homes, and swap unstable local school levies with a state Equalization Fund tied to students/need. Plan →
Transit: fares keep rising and service still stinks. Your fix?
Distance-based OMNY with daily/weekly caps, independent audits, rider watchdogs, and doubling traction power with clean-firm supply so trains actually move. MTA Reform →
Energy: how do you lower bills and keep the lights on?
Build 30–35 GW of reliable clean-firm power (new nuclear + modern thermal), harden the grid, and recycle savings into lower bills and safer transit. Nuclear NY →
Childcare is crushing families. What’s your plan?
New York Childcare Freedom Act: sliding-scale vouchers (≤7% of income), SUNY/CUNY credential pipelines, employer on-site incentives, and desert fixes for rural/suburban areas. Childcare Plan →
Women’s safety and equity?
Maximum penalties for crimes against women/children (no plea down for violent sex crimes) and the Women’s Equity & Empowerment Act (pay transparency, promotion audits, consent/power training). Max Penalties → · WEEA →
Education: how do you improve outcomes fast?
SEZ/LEZ: parent-led School Empowerment Zones and Local Education Zones; phonics/math rigor; CTE pipelines; transparent curricula; federal-strings off-ramp. SEZ/LEZ →
Crime vs. civil liberties — can you do both?
Yes. Detain violent/repeat violent offenders; smash organized theft; protect tourism zones; expand Shock rehabilitation & job pipelines; embed mental-health co-response. Safety Plan →
Small business + jobs?
2-Year Tax-Free Start for new/relocating businesses; concierge permits; hiring incentives in distressed counties. Startup Incentive →
Insurance is out of control. Your fix?
Ban credit-score pricing, public option for home/auto in high-risk zones, cap admin overhead, real fraud controls, and rebates for hardening. Insurance Reform →
Civil liberties, speech, self-reliance?
Liberty & Survival Act: garden/water rights, CBDC ban, precious-metal tender, due-process and free-speech protections. LSA →
Everything links to the math. If it can’t be measured, it won’t be promised.

Accountability & Funding

How will you fund this without raising taxes?
Procurement audits, contract clawbacks, energy savings PPAs, MTA retail/ads, congestion share to a ring-fenced fare trust, and redirecting waste to classrooms and core services. Property-tax relief is a swap, not a cut-and-pray.
How do we track results?
Live dashboards: crime trends, MTA power delays, fare caps used, school outcomes, childcare slots, insurance complaints, property-tax impact by town. If we miss a goal, you’ll see it first.
Clean Streets & Unity?
Clean Streets & Civic Responsibility Act (sanitation blitz, graffiti abatements, rat task force, 311 response SLAs) + Unity & Accountability Act (protect peaceful protest; prosecute destruction & masked intimidation). Clean Streets → · Unity Act →
Public assistance integrity?
Diagnostic screening → work, training, or treatment tracks with fraud analytics — protecting the truly vulnerable while restoring trust. PA Integrity →
