🧭 OBJECTIVE
To rebuild New York’s foundation by restoring community safety, protecting energy independence, reforming government hiring, addressing mental health and addiction, and expanding economic opportunity through bold local empowerment strategies.
🏛️ KEY PROVISIONS
1. Community Responder Corps (CRC)
- Deploy trained civilian responders—mental health professionals, social workers, and crisis de-escalation staff—for non-violent 911 calls.
- Create job pipelines for veterans, graduates, and certified crisis trainees.
- Redirect funds from non-violent incarceration to CRC operations.
2. Ban on Ideological Gatekeeping in Hiring
- Outlaws DEI pledges, political loyalty statements, and ideological litmus tests in public job applications and grants.
- Launches a new “Equal Opportunity Without Ideology” division for enforcement.
- Audits all state agency hiring practices for political bias.
3. Homestead Recovery & Reintegration Program
- Transfers foreclosed and tax-defaulted state properties to vetted residents in recovery, reentry, or working-class hardship.
- Requires participation in workforce training and therapy.
- Grants homeownership after 3–5 years of clean record, job participation, and community contribution.
4. Local Innovation Emergency Declarations (L.I.E.D.)
- Allows counties to bypass Albany bureaucracy with time-limited “Innovation Emergencies.”
- Empowers rapid local pilots: trade schools, addiction hubs, educational experiments, micro-enterprise zones.
- 24-month expiration unless renewed by local vote.
5. Microgrid Independence Mandate
- All counties must submit a microgrid power plan by 2030 to ensure emergency energy self-reliance.
- State grant matches for solar, geothermal, thermal storage, and small wind infrastructure.
- Protects against cyberattacks, blackouts, and utility failures.
📊 WHY IT MATTERS TO YOU
- 🚨 Over 40% of 911 calls in NYC involve mental health or addiction cases. Sending the wrong responder risks lives and lawsuits.
- 🏠 New York has 1.2 million vacant properties—many owned by the state or banks. Let’s turn them into homes, not hazards.
- 🔌 New York is ranked 49th in grid reliability. One cyberattack or major storm could paralyze half the state.
- 💼 Political gatekeeping is crushing trust. Qualified people are being excluded based on beliefs. That ends now.
- 🧠 Mental illness and addiction are at crisis levels. NY suicide rates have increased 32% since 2000. This is life or death.
⚠️ OPPOSITION WE MAY FACE
- State bureaucrats will resist giving counties more power and fast-track authority.
- Left-wing media & activists may oppose hiring reforms and homesteading eligibility rules.
- Utility companies and unions may push back on microgrid independence.
🛠️ HOW WE’LL OVERCOME IT
- Public support will be our weapon. 70% of New Yorkers want alternatives to incarceration and better crisis response.
- We’ll leverage state-controlled assets. Every vacant building and unproductive acre is revenue waiting to be unlocked.
- We’ll sunset all risky components. Innovation Emergencies will have built-in expiration to ensure accountability.
- We’ll let counties compete. Pilot counties will receive grants, recognition, and faster broadband/tech upgrades as incentive.
🔚 CONCLUSION
This is what real leadership looks like—taking the risk, owning the results, and never waiting on Washington to fix what New York can handle ourselves. The New York Renewal & Resilience Act is a 5-in-1 blueprint for saving our state.
Let the establishment stall. Let the critics whine. We’re moving forward—fast, local, and unafraid.
I’m not a good candidate. I’m the right one.
